Sunday was Dr. Suess’ birthday. Joseph thinks that his birthday should be a national holiday instead of St. Patrick’s Day. I totally agree. So apparently at the Headstart ( I go in to see some patients) they are celebrating it all week. They read a book and follow it along with neat activities.
Today’s book was Green Eggs and Ham. I walked in and the room smelled good and they all had plates of green stuff on their plate. They were all enjoying it and even saved me a plate. I was still not sure what it was. I got the plate and smiled not sure what I was getting myself into.
I realized that everyone was watching and waiting for me to eat my green eggs. I had to eat them and realized that I felt like the guy in the book, pressured to eat green eggs. In the end they were just eggs with green food coloring but it is still weird.
