Wave of (Pizza) Mutilation

Life has grown stagnant.

Wake up, go to job, come home, do something productive or be lazy there, gripe about showering and shaving, go to sleep. Interruptions to said schedule take place on Wednesdays for Church and the obligatory hanging out afterwards and on weekends.

A-n-y-way, it seems we have attracted an imitator (though I prefer to think of it as admirer) who continually seems up and down about whether or not to add us as a permanent fixture on his personal page. Of course, I know the guy, and love him; him being a taller, fuller haired, clone-of-except-not Rene. It’s just a shame he forgot to end his post with the proclamation that can be heard ’round the intarnets of: Freakin’ Wankers!

I had Armando’s for dinner last night.  It was piping hot pizza that complemented the breezy low 70’s climate outside.  Take that, Rene!

Also, we must all acquire Wii’s and Xbox 360’s so we can play Smash Bros. when it comes out and whatever future multiplayer game that isn’t a shooter that Joseph will not despise. Playing online is so annoying and actually boring unless you’ve got a good squad behind you, and since Steph has dropped the ball when it comes to this, I only have Kestner64 to save me from the doldrums of Xbox Live.

In toastman28 news, I last heard he was abducted by a flock of “hawt asian chicks”, or whatever it is the young people use as parlance. Is it any wonder we haven’t heard from him in so long? At least on here?

  1. I’m all set up for SSBB.

Oh and if Mr. Munoz is going to keep sniping our ideas shouldn’t we just go ahead and make him a contributor or add him to the blogroll.

Unless of course, the best tactic is to ignore his existence. ;)

  2. Does Metroid Prime 3 support multiplayer cuz I’d be up for that?

  3. Metroid Prime 3 has no Wi-Fi multiplayer.

As I consider it the second weakest in the Prime series, (the most weakest being Echoes) I’m tempted to just sell it away. But I’m also learning that, no matter how much I think I won’t miss a game, I always end up missing it (unless I didn’t like it in the first place). So I guess I’ll be keeping it in all it’s rehashed boring glory.

  4. Well, in truth, it has absolutely no multiplayer.

As for John (Munoz), he hasn’t asked to be a contributor, but I’d gladly link to him if he asked nicely (and returned the favor permanently).

I probably won’t be set for SSBB as No More Heroes is taking priority on my Wii shopping list. Oh, and Civilization is coming to consoles and the DS. Looks like I’ll need to buy me a DS…again!

  5. I hate you.

  6. Or you could buy a DS and play Civ like old times.

Wow, that seems really far away now.

Which somehow, however skewed, segues into this little story not quite long enough for its own post:

LorY was contacted by one of her classmates that her 10 year reunion is next year and to start planning for it.

She responded with a knock-knock joke. (NSFW)

  7. thanks for the consideration. i don’t however feel worthy to be in the ranks with some of the more famous personalities here nor do i have anything of value to contribute. lurking has been fun. if i ever have a fit on inspiration i’ll share with an actual contributor but in the mean time i’ll just sit here and haunt.

  8. Isn’t that just like John? To sit and haunt. One minute you’re looking down at the keyboard and the next you look up and there is John automagically (yes that is a word) appearing out of nothingness with ethernet cable in hand. And when said task is complete, he disappears into the night (or Sunday morning) to tackle another job. I think John should start wearing a cape.

  9. Btw, that reminds me… the Powdered One (ooh, he’s gonna love all his new nicknames) called me last week to see if he would be welcome to come over this weekend but unfortunately plans fell through. Otherwise, seems to be doing alright.

  10. Given his current situation (sequestered by hawt asian chix!!!1!!!), I think that’s a given.
